But...but...there's no engine. The Porsche is rear engined and the Citroen is front, so neither has their in place.
Unless...it's twin engined with a Porsche F6 in the back and a Citroen I4 in the front.
Just yes.

Maybe it is mid engined with the passengers sitting up above the engine.

Does it come in a malaise era, wagon with a stick? That's the only way Jalops will accept it.

Why does this strangely make me want to put rear wheel skirts on a classic 911 narrow-body? (I can even imagine seamlessly flowing widened flared version...)
Imagine a speedster version... I always liked the rare DS convertibles more than the sedans.
Imagine hydro-pneumatic linked independent suspension on a classic 911...
DAMN. This is giving me ideas. Unnatural ideas.

That's pretty close to the first and second 'nose' of the DS:
Now for extra uncanniness, have a guess what kind of engine Walter Becchia had originally designed for that low bonnet...
That's right: a boxer six.
And this was eight years before Porsche launched theirs. Citroën couldn't make Becchia's engine work, so they went back to the ol' I4 of the Traction Avant, but one can dream of what could have been...

I can't see how it improves on the styling of the DS. Now a DS with a modern PSA uber-diesel would be an amazing car...
